About the Author.
Katie was inspired to write this book after having her daughter, Callie. Callie never had a chance to meet Katie’s father, Larry (the inspiration behind Larry the Lizard). Katie wanted to do something special for Callie; to teach her that her grandpa is always with her on all of life’s little adventures. Katie hopes this book can help many other little readers with the loss of a loved one. Katie lives in Grimsby, Ontario, with her husband Andrew and their two children, Callie and Caleb.
